Recently I worked with my favourite east coast musician on the flexibility and tension in the fingers and thumb of his left hand. Holding the neck of his guitar and holding positions for long periods of time without working on flexibility between gigs has left one finger especially stiff and the knuckle with less mobility. We worked on loosing this by twisting and puling the fascia on his finger, and this is what that exercise looks like. I add a couple of other useful, related movements as well. Hopefully, I'll be able to record a piece of our session next time as well and see the effects first-hand. *Try the moves at least once a day if not two and the release will come!
